  Loki tries to warn Mobius and B-15 about variants of He Who Remains, but they do not know Loki and he sees that a statue of one of these variants has replaced those of the Time-Keepers.

• Unknown Time

  Loki Laufeyson running away from Mobius, B-15 and the other Minutemen, after Loki try to convince him they know each other. Loki, hearing Mobius confirm once again that he doesn't, leaps into a mail cart that crashes into the Time Variance Authority Office's lower level after hitting a statue with He Who Remains' likeness, seemingly a variant who is the Time Variance Authority's new ruler. Loki meets Casey, who also doesn't remember him. He sounds the alarm of an "level five intruder", Casey reports that he has found said intruder, after which Loki grotesquely distorts back into the present.

• Unknown Time

  In the TVA's headquarters, Judge Ravonna Renslayer accuses Loki of crimes against the Sacred Timeline. Loki believes the TVA should suspect The Avengers, as they went back in time, causing him to end up in this situation. However, Renslayer counters this by saying The Avengers' mission was meant to happen, but Loki's escape was not. Following this, Agent Mobius M. Mobius takes Loki to the Time Theatre to review Loki's past misdeeds and question his habit of killing and hurting people. Loki steals TVA tech to retrieve the Tesseract, but gives up escaping upon realizing that the TVA's power exceeds that of the Infinity Stones. Loki returns to the Time Theatre and witnesses a recording of the would-be future the deaths of his adoptive parents Frigga and Odin as well as his own at the hands of Thanos. Realizing that his cruelty and mischief will not lead to his ascendance, Loki agrees to work with Mobius to protect the Sacred Timeline from a rogue variant of himself.

• Unknown Time

  Loki time slips to his interrogation with Mobius, who gets him to realize that most "glorious purpose" is one of burden that cannot be truly avoided, and that the best course of action is sometimes the ugliest. Loki shakes hands with Mobius before the time line spaghettified.

• Unknown Time

  After returning to the TVA headquarters, Mobius convinces Ravonna Renslayer to give Loki another chance. After research, Loki proposes that The Variant is hiding in spacetime near apocalyptic events like Asgard's Ragnarok, where the impending destruction means their actions cannot change the timeline, thus concealing them from the TVA. Loki and Mobius confirm this possibility by visiting Pompeii in 79 AD than the duo then figure out that the Variant is at a hurricane in 2050 Alabama.

• Unknown Time

  Loki follows the Variant, whose name is Sylvie, to the TVA, where they are confronted by Renslayer, before escaping using a TemPad to Lamentis-1.

• Unknown Time

  With Loki and Sylvie capture. Renslayer informs Mobius about Hunter C-20's death in uncertain circumstances. Mobius has them separated, punishing Loki by leaving him in a time loop with Lady Sif. After Mobius and Hunter B-15 realize they are variants after interrogating Loki and Sylvie, Mobius frees Loki from the loop, but is soon confronted by Renslayer and is pruned. Loki and Sylvie are taken to the Time Keepers by Renslayer before Hunter B-15 intervenes. In the ensuing fight, Renslayer's minutemen are killed while Renslayer is knocked unconscious by Sylvie, who destroys one of the Time Keepers, discovering they are androids. Renslayer regains consciousness and pruned Loki. Sylvie, in anger, demands the truth from Renslayer. Elsewhere, Loki awakens in an unknown realm, surrounded by other Loki variants, who invite him to come along.

• Unknown Time

  Sylvie learns from Renslayer that Loki was teleported to the Void, a dimension at the end of Time where everything the TVA prunes is dumped into. Renslayer talk to an imprisoned Hunter B-15, Renslayer instructs Miss Minutes to give her the information about the TVA's founding so that she can get to whoever organized the TVA first before Loki and Sylvie could find a way.

• Unknown Time

  Mobius confronts Renslayer and both accuse each other of betrayal. Renslayer leaves on a mission to find "free will" after Miss Minutes gives her information from the TVA's creator.

• Unknown Time

  Loki Laufeyson back in the present discovers that he is uncontrollably warping across time in the TVA headquarters. Loki reunites with Mobius and warns him of the threat of the many variants of He Who Remains, the TVA's creator. Loki and Mobius M. Mobius go to meet TVA technician Ouroboros "OB", who deduces that Loki is "Time Slipping", a phenomenon possibly caused by branching timelines dangerously overloading the Temporal Loom after the death of He Who Remains. To stop Loki's time slipping, OB instructs Mobius to approach the Temporal Loom with the Temporal Aura Extractor device to extract Loki from the time stream as Loki prunes himself. Loki time slips to the future, where the TVA is being evacuated. Loki briefly encounters Sylvie Laufeydottir before he is pruned by someone at the last possible second. Mobius successfully pulls Loki from the time stream, and the two of them set out to find Sylvie, just as many TVA hunters are ordered by General Dox to search for her.

• Unknown Time

  Brad under interrogation, he admits to abandoning General Dox's mission and reveals Sylvie's location. Meanwhile, O.B. attempts to repair the Loom to safely accommodate the branching timelines, but discovers he cannot access it without help from the missing Miss Minutes or He Who Remains's aura.

• Unknown Time

  Casey tracks the rogue Ravonna Renslayer's TemPad on one of the remaining branching timelines, Sylvie, refusing to be involved any further, returns to back to 1982.

• Unknown Time

  At the TVA employees, the Temporal Loom reaches catastrophic failure, Loki and his allies attempt to use Timely and Ouroboros's Throughput Multiplier to fix it. It is revealed that the source of Ouroboros's knowledge is Timely himself, creating an ontological paradox. Renslayer and Miss Minutes attempt to take over the TVA, approaching the detained Wolfe, Dox and her loyalists for help. Only Brad agrees. Dox and her loyalists instead choose to be crushed to death by Miss Minutes. Wolfe prunes Hunter D-90 and kidnaps Timely. While staging a rescue, Sylvie and Loki encounter his time-slipping past self. Loki prunes his past self. Ouroboros deactivates Miss Minutes and the TVA's magic-suppressing devices. This enables Sylvie to enchant Brad, controlling him to prune Renslayer. Timely is rescued and is able to restore access to the Temporal Loom, but the Loom's increased temporal radiation spaghettifies him before he can launch the Throughput Multiplier. The Temporal Loom explodes, and the blast wave spreads toward Loki, Mobius, Sylvie, B-15, Casey, and Ouroboros in the TVA.

  Loki successfully time slip himself back to moments before the Loom's destruction.

  Loki survives the explosion, but everyone else has vanished and the TVA headquarters spaghettifies. Loki escapes as he begins time slipping again, taking him to branched timelines where his friends Mobius, Hunter B-15, Casey, and OB were reset to their original lives

• Unknown Time

  Loki time slips to the moment before the Temporal Loom's explosion. Loki just as Victor Timely prepares to launch the Throughput Multiplier, before he dies horrifically to spaghettification. As Ouroboros comments that they took too long to launch it, Loki repeatedly time-slips back in an attempt to hasten the Multiplier's launch, hoping to do it earlier by taking Timely from Renslayer and Miss Minutes during their interrogation. However, it is still too late. Loki decides to prepare Timely from the moment he arrived at the TVA, at which point the temporal radiation is low enough for Timely to be able to launch the Multiplier and make it back alive. As Loki and the others celebrate, Ouroboros discovers that as the Multiverse infinitely expands into countless branching timelines, the Loom is immediately overloaded. Timely calculates that the Loom will never be able to scale to accommodate the ever-expanding Multiverse. Loki slips to the moment before Sylvie kills He Who Remains

  Ravonna Renslayer and Miss Minutes travel to Chicago, 1868 to secretly drop the TVA Guidebook to a young Victor Timely, a variant of He Who Remains, who informed Miss Minutes about this plan before his death. They then travel to 1893 at the Chicago World's Fair.

• 1893

  Loki and Mobius arrive tracking Renslayer's TemPad. There, they see Timely presenting his Temporal Loom prototype. Timely then has four groups chasing him. Loki and Mobius, who want to use his aura to fix the Loom; Renslayer and Miss Minutes, who want him to take his variant's place with them at his side Sylvie, who wants to kill him to prevent his rise to power and a robber baron and his allies wanting revenge against Timely's fake invention scam. At Timely's Wisconsin laboratory, he turns Miss Minutes off after she professes romantic love for him. Renslayer, Loki, Mobius, and Sylvie arrive, with Sylvie gaining control. Sylvie allows Loki to take Timely back to the TVA. She then sends Renslayer to the Citadel at the End of Time.

• 1962

  Casey were Frank Morris in Alcatraz escaping with other prisoners in San Francisco.

• 1977

  Loki, Mobius, and Hunter B-15 find and capture Hunter X-05 in London, 1977 on the Sacred Timeline, where he lives as film actor "Brad Wolfe".

• 1982

  Sylvie Laufeydottir enters a branched in Broxton, Oklahoma and visits a McDonald's restaurant and asked the cashier for everything.

• 1982

  Loki, Mobius and Brad travel to Oklahoma and find Sylvie working in a McDonald's. Loki tells her of their encounter in the TVA's future and asks for her assistance to figure out what would happen, but Sylvie refuses to involve herself with the organization. After Brad proclaims the group is in mortal danger, Sylvie enchants him, forcing him to reveal Dox's plan to simultaneously destroy the branching timelines with reset charges. Loki, Mobius, and Sylvie capture Dox, but her plan has largely succeeded and some of her allies have escaped.

• 1982

  Sylvie returns to McDonald and wish a Jack good night. Afterwards, she look over He Who Remains's TemPad in her possession.

• 1982

  Loki found Sylvie after she finished her shift at McDonald's, Loki approached her, only to discover much to his surprise and relief that Sylvie remembered everything, including the explosion. At a bar, Loki explained how everyone's lives were reset to before the TVA which Sylvie saw as a good thing as they were back in their real lives.

• 1982

  Sylvie witnessed her timeline spaghettifying like Victor Timely while visiting a records store and barely escaped in time using He Who Remains' TemPad.

• 1985

  Loki joins a TVA mission following an ambush by a variant of Loki in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. He wants assurance that the TVA will let him meet the Time Keepers instead of disintegrating him, but Mobius figures out that he is stalling.

• 1994

  Ouroboros is an failed science fiction writer and theoretical physics professor A.D. named Doug in Pasadena. Loki was able to finds Doug and enlists his help with Loki unable to control his time slipping, Doug proposes Loki gather everyone present at the explosion back together, so that their collective temporal aura can send them back to the right time and place. Loki gives Doug a TVA Handbook to allow him to build a TemPad before he time slip.

• 1994

  Loki was able to gathering everyone else to Doug's workshop. Sylvie went to help Loki. However, Doug's workshop also spaghettifies, as do Frank, Doug, Don, Willis, and Sylvie. Loki finally controls his time slipping by focusing on a person. Declaring that he can "rewrite the story".

• 1994

  Loki time slips to Sylvie on what he should do next, believing that he should restore the Sacred Timeline in order to restore all of existence. Sylvie persuades him to preserve free will instead, leading Loki to believe that he can replace the Sacred Timeline with "something better".

• 2012

  Hunter B-15 is an pediatrist named Verity Willis in New York City.

• 2018

  Hunter B-15 proves to TVA agents that they are variants by showing them a variant of Ravonna Renslayer who is a school vice-principal.

• 2022

  Mobius is an jet ski salesman named Don in Cleveland with two young sons. Loki time slip outside of Don's house where Loki watches his friend with his sons. When Don see Loki he offered to sell him one of Don's two jet skis, and Loki recalled Mobius' fascination with jet skis and the possibility of owning them. However, Don was dubious about Loki's story about the TVA and Don being Mobius until Doug emerged from a Time Door in front of them.

• 2050

  Sylvie, projects an emulated memory into the captive Hunter C-20 to collect information about the Time-Keepers' location.

• 2050

  Loki, Mobius, and TVA agents travel to the Roxxcart superstore. The Variant ambushes them, using body possession to control TVA's Hunter B-15 and other locals. The Variant rejects Loki's offer for them to work together to overthrow the TVA's Time-Keepers. A variant reveals itself as a female version of Loki. She executes her scheme, teleporting the TVA reset charges she stole to various locations in spacetime, thus creating many new timeline branches. She teleports into a timeline, and Loki follows her.

• 2077

  On the habitable moon Lamentis-1 Loki and Sylvie discover that the moon is about to be crushed by a planet. Both are unable to escape due to the TemPad having run out of power. The two sneak aboard a train bound for the Ark, a spaceship intended to evacuate Lamentis-1 in order to siphon its power and recharge the TemPad. On the train, Loki gets drunk, which causes him and Sylvie to be discovered and forced out by the guards. Loki accidentally breaks the TemPad, which forces him and Sylvie to approach the Ark on foot. During their journey, Sylvie reveals to Loki that the TVA is comprised entirely of variants, rather than being created by the Time-Keepers as Mobius claimed. Loki and Sylvie arrive at the Ark's location and fight their way through the guards, only to witness it being destroyed by a meteor, leaving them stranded.

• 2077

  Sylvie tells Loki she escaped the TVA's detention as a child. The bond between Loki and Sylvie create a Nexus Event the like the TVA never seen. The TVA was able to locate the two and bring them in.

• Altered 2012 Timeline

  Loki land in the Gobi Desert with the Tesseract and is captured by the Time Variance Authority or the TVA.

• Void Time Zone

  The Loki variants tell Loki that a cloud-like creature named Alioth, guards the Void and prevents anyone from escaping. In an attempt to reach Loki, Sylvie prunes herself and narrowly escapes Alioth with Mobius' help. Boastful Loki attempts to betray the other Lokis for President Loki and the Lokis with him, causing a fight to ensue while Loki and his variant allies escape. After reuniting with Loki, Sylvie proposes a plan to approach Alioth and enchant it, in hopes that it will lead them to the real mastermind behind the TVA's creation. As the Lokis head toward Alioth, Mobius uses a TemPad Sylvie stole from Renslayer to return to the TVA. Kid Loki and Alligator Loki escape while Classic Loki creates a large illusion of Asgard to distract Alioth, sacrificing himself in the process. This allows Loki and Sylvie to successfully enchant the creature and move past the Void. Noticing a citadel in the distance, the pair walk towards it.

  Renslayer awakens in the Void and found by Alioth.

• End of Time Realm

  At the Citadel of He Who Remains. He Who Remains greets Loki and Sylvie, who are both surprised that he is "just a man". Using a TemPad to avoid Sylvie's attacks, He Who Remains reveals he can anticipate their actions because he has foreseen the past, present, and future and that he guided them to him. He also reveals that he created the TVA after several variants of himself discovered alternative universes and contacted each other in the 31st century. Several of them tried to conquer other universes, leading to a multiversal war. He Who Remains harnessed the creature Alioth to end it, isolate his timeline, and create the TVA to prevent further branches. As he has grown weary, he offers Loki and Sylvie a choice: kill him, end the singular timeline, and risk another multiversal war sparked by his variants, or succeed him in leading the TVA and managing the timeline. As the timeline begins to diverge, He Who Remains finds he can no longer anticipate the future and Sylvie tries to kill him. Loki fights her, fearing He Who Remains might be right and pleading that he wants to keep her safe. They kiss, but Sylvie uses the TemPad to send Loki back to the TVA headquarters and kills a surrendering He Who Remains, unleashing a multiverse with timelines that cannot be pruned.

• End of Time Realm

  Loki slips to the moment before Sylvie kills He Who Remains who tells Loki that the Loom is a fail-safe overloading it protects the Sacred Timeline by deleting the branches along with the TVA. He Who Remains suggests Loki kill Sylvie to save the Loom, which Loki rejects.

• End of Time Realm

  Renslayer at the Citadel brought out Miss Minutes. They both see He Who Remains' corpse as Miss Minutes reveals that she knows a secret about Renslayer.

• End of Time Realm

  Miss Minutes reveals that in the past, Renslayer commanded He Who Remains' army he proposed that Renslayer lead the TVA with him, then had Miss Minutes erase the memories of Renslayer and other TVA employees.

  Loki transform the ruin He Who Remains' throne into a golden one then he magically rejuvenates the dying timelines and rearranges them into a tree-like structure, committing himself to oversee the branches alone at the End of Time.
